LABOUR DEPARTMENT (JTK) QUOTA

We will assist the customer to advertise relevant job openings with the JCS (Job Clearing System) an online portal in the Labour Department. The department will issue a Letter Verifying Registration in view that 30 days have elapsed since the job was advertised and no local workers expressed interest in the job.

HOME AFFAIRS MINISTRY (KDN) APPROVAL

Following this, the customer is required to submit the relevant documents to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The submission will be evaluated according to approved industries e.g., manufacturing, construction, agricultural, plantation, restaurant or cleaning services and the worker’s source country among others. Based on the quota, a Levy (cost borne by employer) will be imposed according to the industry in question.

FOREIGN WORKER RECRUITMENT

We will assist the company to appoint its own rep/authorized person with the power to transact and carry out workers’ recruitment matters on the company’s behalf. Therefore, to deal with the relevant government bodies apart from private organisations which will be involved in the recruitment process.

FOREIGN WORKER ARRIVAL
On their arrival at the port of disembarkation, we will arrange for their port clearance and transport. Then, arrange to register them with FOMEMA for a medical examination to be done 30 days upon arrival.

MEDICAL CHECK (FOMEMA)

A Bank Draft is payable to “FOMEMA Sdn Bhd” and is submitted together with Passport (photocopy) and Registration form. On clearing the medical examination, workers passports and insurances policies are submitted to the Malaysian Immigration. Following this, workers will be issued a work permit sticker.

With these, workers will receive job briefing and rules among others so they can start working with the respective Malaysian employers. If the worker fail the medical examination, we will submit an Appeal to FOMEMA. If disapproved, the worker will be returned to his/her home country.
